Join the Extension Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia for a hands-on learning session about herbal teas, their history, and medicinal benefits!
Do you enjoy herbal tea and gardening? Learn how to grow, harvest, and store your own homegrown herbal tea from Extension Master Gardeners Becky Halbe, Nancy Kelly, and Cindy Robertson. You will also learn about tea's history and medicinal benefits.
You may be surprised to learn that some of the most beautiful and easy-to-grow native plants make delicious tea. We hope to bring samples! Our knowledge builds upon the tea traditions established by our Native Americans, an important part of our history as we commemorate our 250-year anniversary. Check out our article here, for more details.
