Gale Courses

Gale Courses offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online. As a library card holder in good standing, you are entitled to these courses at no cost. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.

Select from hundreds of personal and professional development courses covering a variety of topics like accounting and finance, computer applications, law and legal, health and wellness and more. Award of completion is given with a passing score.

Rocket Languages is an award-winning interactive online language-learning system. The multi-faceted system allows patrons to learn new languages at their own pace.

The Alexandria Library is a partner with Grow with Google, which makes tools and digital skills training easily accessible online for free. As a partner we also receive resources to teach digital skills to our community at the library.

Learn practical digital skills with Grow With Google's project-based online video curriculum. You can work at your own pace and there is no charge for any of the programs. Classes are suitable for teens and adults.
