What is Free Verse Poetry?
Join local Author and Poet Serena Wills for a dynamic workshop on free verse poetry and dispelling the myth that poems need to rhyme. This workshop is for all levels of writers ages 15 and up and those who just want to learn about poetry. Participants will be able to write poetry during the workshop, and some will be able to share as well.
Participants will be invited to write about a love for their family, friends, teachers (past or present), pets, community, jobs, hobbies, memories, self-love, a positive vision for our country, etc.
