Read the book, then watch this supernatural thriller film based on Agatha Christie's 1969 novel "Hallowe'en Party."

While the novel is a traditional murder mystery set in England, the movie is a horror-tinged story set in a haunted palazzo in post-WWII Venice during a séance, with director and star Kenneth Branagh returning as Hercule Poirot. Rated PG-13. 2023
