Commemorate the International Day of Peace by creating an origami crane.

Learn how to make an origami crane to celebrate the International Day of Peace.  Instructions, hands on help and materials, including origami paper featuring flags from the nations of the world, will be provided.  Make several cranes and put them on a string to hang up in your home.  Make a crane and add it to our community art canvases that will be displayed in the library. Ages 14 and up.

Can't make it to the event? Come pick up a take home origami peace crane kit at the Information Desk, beginning September 18.  Available until supplies run out.
