It's World Art Day! How are art styles around the world different? Are some more similar than we'd imagine? Pick up an art kit with an art project from India and one from a DC artist to find out!

World Art Day is April 15th. Pick up an art kit at the Duncan Branch to celebrate so you can make your own art projects at home. Watch our Youtube video to learn about Indian art techniques and artwork by local Washington, DC artist, Alma Thomas. Discover their similarities from across the globe and learn new ways to make colorful, patterned artwork.

Art kits will be available while supplies last at the Duncan Branch in Del Ray. Adult supervision may be required. Pick up a kit beginning on Friday, April 15. Check our events page for other exciting All Alexandria Reads events!
