Pick up an art kit to decorate your own journal and sketchbook. Fill it with your ideas and art, just like artist Horace Pippin!
Art Explorers is an art history themed story time and an art project, done in the style of a famous artist or art movement from history. Discover artist Horace Pippin with the included fact sheet and decorate your own sketchbook at home with your art kit. Who knows - maybe your sketchbook will end up in the Smithsonian archives one day, just like Horace Pippin's!
Art kits will be available beginning Tuesday, February 15 while limited supplies last. Pick up a kit only at the Kate Waller Barrett Branch. Adult supervision may be required.
