Celebrate National Novel Writing Month by joining us for a writing workshop with author Rebecca York. This event is sponsored by Sisters in Crime.

Catch their attention in the first sentence, the first paragraph, the first chapter. NY Times & USA Today best-selling author Rebecca York describes how to write a first chapter that will draw the reader in and keep her turning the pages. York is the author of over 150 books.  She has written paranormal romantic suspense for Berkley and romantic suspense for Harlequin Intrigue and Sourcebooks. Her current romantic-suspense series, Decorah Security, is set at a detective agency where agents have paranormal powers or work paranormal cases.
