Bill Young, co-creator of MPnature.com, will stop by to teach you about the wildlife in our local Monticello Park, and how to use his website to get the most out of your wildlife watching experience.
Bill Young and Ashley Bradford have created MPNature.com to present natural history information to a wide audience on a website that is easy to use and attractive to look at. They want to provide material that goes beyond what can be found in typical bird and nature guides and websites. Monticello Park is one of the premiere spring birding destinations in the Greater Washington Area. The MPNature website contains detailed accounts of the birds and plants in the park, daily bird checklists for April and May, natural history essays, suggested resources in 14 natural history categories, and a lot more. Bill’s presentation will provide information about Monticello Park and how to get the most out of the MPNature website.
