Beth Patridge Meeting RoomJoin local clinical herbalist Kay Sidahmed for an educational presentation and conversation exploring the beneficial role herbal medicine can play in holistic and collaborative cancer care
Topics include:
- everyday strategies for vital wellbeing and cancer prevention
- how herbs can be integrated at various levels of cancer care protocols, including support for: stress and nervous system, surgery preparation and recovery, pain, chemo and radiation side effects
- helpful resources and how to keep it safe
Clinical Herbalist and Forest Therapy Guide Kay Sidahmed (PhD, MS) is founder and owner of Cura Viriditas, a clinical herbal practice in service of connecting plants and humans to foster individual, communal, and planetary healing and wellbeing. In her work Kay interweaves the findings and tools of modern science as well as traditional herbal healing knowledge and wisdom from around the world. She offers individual and group consultations, classes, workshops, and forest bathing. Her work focuses largely on (peri)menopause & menstrual health, second-half-of-life, and chronic & autoimmune conditions. She is passionate about bringing people together and creating communal and inclusive spaces of learning and exploration.
