Jesmyn Ward's novel, "Sing, Unburied, Sing" is a story told in three perspectives: Jojo, a thirteen year old who can see ghosts and spends time trying to understand his place in the world, Leonie, Jojo's mom who can also see ghosts and is haunted by the spirit of her brother, and Richie, the ghost of an inmate who died when he was thirteen who wants to help Jojo.
