Celebrate Black History Month by joining us to learn about artist Faith Ringgold, uniquely known for her painted "story quilts," and to create a geometric cut paper panel.

Artist Faith Ringgold is known for expanding upon the tradition of quilting by adding large painted scenes to the central panel of her quilts and then surrounding these with narrative text panels. Registration is required. 

This program is supported by the Burke Branch Friends. To join the Friends and help support the Library, visit burke-branch-friends.mailchimpsites.com or speak with a Library staff member.
