LANGUAGE ASSISTANCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY

Alexandria Library works to ensure that Persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) receive the language assistance necessary to allow meaningful access to library services. Library staff will assist Persons with Limited English Proficiency in securing Library cards and signing up for Library computers. The Library does not utilize non‑Library staff to assist in translation in order to insure patron information privacy and confidentiality.
