Please join us online to view and discuss four short documentaries from The Story of Stuff that explore how we can reduce our dependence on plastic. This is the second discussion in a 4-part series.

At this Documentary and Discussion, we'll begin working our way through the Solving Plastic Series created by the Story of Stuff with funding from The 11th Hour Project. In the documentary shorts, we'll glimpse companies trying to remove or reduce plastic from everyday household products, major contributors to citizen plastic dependence.

Solving Plastic Series

We invite you to join with others in the community in a conversation about our dependence on plastic. This 4-part series follows the documentary shorts created by the folks at The Story of Stuff Project to dive deep into our plastic world and explore some of the solutions creatives and ordinary folks are coming up with to nurture a more sustainable and equitable world.

• January 29 - Part 1 examines the effects of a disposable, plastic-centered economy.
• February 26 - Part 2 looks at a few of the solutions that reduce our dependence on plastic.
• March 25- Part 3 shares companies aiming to make reusable items we’ve come to see as having only one-time value.
• April 22 - Part 4 plants the seeds of what real recycling could be.
