Inspired by the ingenuity of Edwin Binney (the inventor of Crayola Crayons) and the mesmerizing mosaics of Christian Faur, we are working with Crayons as our medium to create mosaics.

Christian Faur – Christian Faur is an American artist who uses crayons to create large-scale mosaics. He sorts thousands of crayons by color and then arranges them in a grid to create images that look like pixelated photographs. Faur’s work is incredibly intricate and detailed, and he is able to achieve a wide range of colors and tones by using different shades of crayons. He has exhibited his work in galleries around the world and has won numerous awards for his innovative use of the medium.
