Storytime in the Reading Garden

Frank and Betty Wright Reading GardenMetropolitan School of the Arts brings the story of Cinderella!
Enjoy a magical escape into the fairytale world of ballet as you delight in meeting your favorite princess, the beautiful fairy godmother and the funny stepsisters and stepmom. Enjoy this interactive tale using words, mime and ballet steps. Be introduced to Prokofiev’s ravishing score, and enjoy a photo opportunity with your favorite character!
If you are interested in seeing the full ballet performance, dates are April 29 and 30th at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Old Town Alexandria. For tickets visit www.metropolitanarts.org.
Please note that this program will be held outdoors. Stop by the Children's Desk for a ticket for entry. They will be distributed starting at 10:30 am.
No registration required. Attendance is first-come, first-served. Cancellation decisions will be made at least 1/2 hour prior to the start time.
