Visit an Alexandria Library branch for Take Your Child to the Library Day! Each library will offer a free activity. Ages 0-Grade 5
On the first Saturday in February, thousands of libraries across the world celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by offering free, fun, fabulous activities for families. Your local library is an ideal place for children to play, discover, make friends, and have fun.
Are you wild about your library? Make an animal valentine inspired by Michael Hall's My Heart is Like a Zoo! Pick up a craft kit of supplies at Barrett branch. Most supplies provided, available while supplies last.
Stop by for a photobooth, scavenger hunt, and fun prizes!
Celebrate "Take Your Child to the Library Day" with an all ages storytime where we will read, sing, and play.
