Bring your doll or borrow one of ours! An independent experience for ages 6 - 12
Drop in with your American Girl™ doll (or borrow one of ours for the hour) for free play and dress up with our collection of clothes and accessories. Bring a friend or make new ones together! Supplies provided to make doll flower crowns to take home.
It is recommended to bring a large labeled zip lock bag to hold your doll's own outfit and accessories. We have lots to try on for the program and this will help avoid any mix ups!
Please note that all dolls, clothing, and accessories cannot leave our story room and must be returned to Miss Vanessa at the end of the program. We invite you to check out one of Barrett's American Girl™ dolls from our circulation desk, but these dolls cannot be used for this event - there are plenty of others to chose from for play and dress up!
Ages 6 - 12. For both safety and our story room capacity limits, this will be an independent play experience for children 6-12 only. Coloring activities for younger siblings or younger siblings provided in our children's room. Check our events page for 0-5 events both at Barrett and other Alexandria Library locations. American Girl™ dolls are recommended for ages 8+.
