Learn about art and art history with stories and games, before creating your own art project with paint, clay, and more!
Do you want to learn about real artists, from prehistoric cave painters to Basquiat? Do you want to experiment with different artistic mediums? Or are you just looking for a creativity focused, free art program?
Join us for Art Explorers, an art history story time with an art project at the end of every session. Learn about a famous artist, painting or movement from history and then try it yourself! Art Explorers encourages early art appreciation and creative exploration through mediums like paint, clay, and more.
Art Explorers is an independent story time for children ages 6 - 12. While we love for your child to work independently on their art project, grown ups must remain in the children's room and/or outdoor space. All art supplies provided. Supplies are washable but you may get messy - aprons are available. One registration per child required - supplies are ordered based on registrations which does not allow for walk ins.
