Join representatives from Alexandria's Health, Police, EMS, and Fire Departments as they discuss the mental health among public health workers and first responders since 2020.

Panelists from four City departments will join us:

  • Corey A. Smedley, Fire-EMS Chief with the City of Alexandria
  • Brian Hircik, Deputy Chief of EMS at the Alexandria Fire Department
  • Courtney Ballantine, Commander with the Alexandria Police Department 
  • Natalie Talis, MPH, Population Health Manager with the Alexandria Health Department

Based on their experiences, they will touch on challenges in their fields, beneficial improvements in practices, recommendations they would make looking towards the future.
