A meeting space to explore the world of computer programming.
Aspiring tween computer programmers are welcome to do a hands-on coding project or try out different programming technologies. Some experience recommended but not required. This program will be in-person and indoors. Space is limited. Participants can enter the room 15 minutes before the start time. This program is for ages 8-12.
While children ages 0-5 are now eligible for vaccines, the library is continuing to offer outdoor programming and is slowly phasing in indoor programming for all ages. Until it is determined to be safe for both staff and patrons, we will not offer maximum occupancy to indoor events. Indoor programming in meeting rooms will be phased in starting with 30% of maximum room occupancy for programs for children. Please arrive early to indoor programs as space is limited. Masks may be required at some indoor programs for all participants.
