OutdoorsInteract with a Mad Scientist and have fun while learning about chemical reactions, air pressure and the states of matter. Recommended for ages 6-12.
When was the last time you burnt paper and there was no ash? Or levitated beach balls using no hands? See the scientific method in action! The Mad Scientists are back with a spectacular show that includes foggy dry ice storms, sizzling, shivering scissors and special bubbly showers!
This program is recommended for ages 6-12. Mad Science will be back in July with their "Preschool 1,2,3s" program.
Summer Quest events may be cancelled or changed to a virtual event in the case of inclement weather. Changes to this event will be made by 6pm the day before and details will be posted on this page. Please check back or call the Barrett Branch at (703) 746-1710 for updates.
