All Alexandria Reads 2022 is themed for resilience, and our nonfiction pick, Crying in H Mart, highlights the story of a woman losing her mother to cancer. Join Serena Wills, a local self-published author, National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach and former Caregiver to her mother for a workshop that will walk through her journey and explore her poetry book, Crying Tears of Teal.  This is an interactive workshop and participants can share their journey as well. Participants will also be able to reflect on their own journey, look at where they are presently standing as caregivers or former ones, review feelings and emotions, take a self-care inventory to see if they are taking care of their selves (are we eating, going to the doctor, sleeping, working out) and start to look at what do they need and want for their selves, what are their dreams and goals and what would their loved ones want for them now and in the future.  Let’s see what we need now and what may be next for us on our path.
