Join us for this special nature program inspired by "Infinite Country" by Patricia Engel, one of our selections for All Alexandria Reads.

Birds and nature have played a significant part in the cultures of Latin America. Bill Young will discuss how hummingbirds, quetzals, condors, and other birds and nature have influenced the lives of people living in Central and South America. Bill is a writer who lives in Arlington. His book The Fascination of Birds: From the Albatross to the Yellowthroat examines how birds have influenced the lives and cultures of people around the world. He is the co-creator of the MPNature.com website, which contains a wealth of information about the natural history of Monticello Park in Alexandria.
