This Women's History Month, join us for a talk with local author, Rita Mattia, who will offer delightful tales and share her experience with writing not one, but two books and hosting a podcast.
In two volumes, Rita Mattia has created a humorous, insightful and loving collection of stories from her 70+ years of living, all while successfully dodging a sneaky microorganism that shall not be named.
In her first book, Trying Stuff and her second, Writa Writes and Reads, she masterfully relays memories and personal stories from a courageous life. Among other family and friend adventures, Rita generously recounts times with her beloved mother and grandmother, experiences as a single mother and working in a field dominated by men. Both books are available for purchase, including a few locally available autographed copies.
