Beatley Central Library’s coding club explores different programming topics – hoping to encourage and inspire future programmers everywhere!

This session of Beatley Central’s Girls Who Code club will look at how code is used in animation and gaming through the programming language Javascript.

Some of the lessons are presented through Code.Org which offers free online courses for kids. You do not have to have an account with Code.Org to participate in the meet-up. But if you would like to save your work, you will need to have an account. You can create one for free and join a class course!

Log in to your Code.Org account before the start of the meeting so you’re ready to begin.

Feel free to email Miss Amanda (akite@alexlibraryva.org) if you have any questions or would like the specific class code used by Beatley Library’s coding club for this session.

This program is for anyone ages 8-14.
