Storytime with the Black History Museum

Join us as we explore the history of Alexandria’s local African American community through books, stories, and songs. All are welcome, but the event is geared towards children ages 4-8.
Join us for an activity after the story! Please pick up your activity kit before the event. Kits available for pickup at the Beatley Central Library two weeks prior to the event date.
Themes:
- November 13: Thanksgiving (Activity Kit available for pickup starting Saturday, October 23)
- December 11: Kwanzaa (Activity Kit available for pickup starting Saturday, November 27)
- January 8: Martin Luther King, Jr. (Activity Kit available for pickup starting Sunday, December 26)
- February 12: Black History Month (Activity Kit available for pickup starting Saturday, January 29)
