Before a book lands on a library shelf, it first must be published. This is the story of one such book, and it’s also a romantic comedy with some Oddball twists. An attractive Frenchman who specializes in publishing the works of Scottish writers has only one client who generates significant sales, an attractive Scottish lass whose first novel is an instant best seller. He’d like to repeat the results, and so would she, so they sign a contract for another novel. Happy ever after, right? Alas, writer’s block descends like a highland fog, threatening to prevent the author from meeting her deadline and the publisher from paying his bills. There are many ways to combat writer’s block; this pair will try all the established methods and come up with a few new ones.
