A monthly program that features a story, a craft and a baking project inspired by a different American Girl™ character. Discover what life in Alexandria was like in Maryellen's™ era this September!

Discover what life was like in Alexandria with American Girl characters! This virtual program will feature a different American Girl. We will read an excerpt from their book, play a trivia game, make a craft for our doll or stuffed animals, and explore what Alexandria was like during their time period. September will feature Maryellen Larkin™ and what life was like in 1950's Alexandria.

Watch the program video on our YouTube channel. Make sure to be on the lookout for an extra baking video with Miss Lisa who will show us how to make recipes from the American Girl™ books!

Craft kits are available to take home. Schedule a curbside appointment to pick up your Maryellen Larkin™ craft supply kit - just write "MARYELLEN CRAFT KIT" in the notes field. Kits can also be picked up in person at the Kate Waller Barrett children's reference desk while supplies last. One kit per child. No substitutions. Kits are available for pickup September 18.
