Meet the author of the American Girl® Felicity series, Valerie Tripp, with a book signing to follow! All ages. Space limited, please pick up a ticket starting at 10:30AM.

Alexandria Library is proud to announce the arrival of Felicity Merriman® dolls for check-out to the Kate Waller Barrett Branch in November. We’re celebrating with a special presentation from the author of Felicity’s book series, Valerie Tripp.

Over the course of an hour, Tripp will speak on the creative process, research, and the joys of writing. She will share manuscripts and original artwork from the Felicity® series with the audience. A question and answer session for children will follow. The audience will then be able to meet with Tripp one-on-one to have books and dolls signed. We will also have special drawings where participants can win Felicity or Melody's book sets or even a brand new American Girl® doll! We invite guests to bring their own dolls and books to this exciting event as we meet the author that brought Felicity Merriman® to life!

This is a first come, first served, ticketed event. Space is limited to 125 people. Tickets can be picked up at the Youth Services Desk starting at 10:30AM. All guests, including children, must be present in order to receive a ticket. All guests who enter the presentation room must be holding a ticket which will be checked at the entry door. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
