Celebrate National Poetry Month and great American poets by adding your poem to Beatley’s poet-trees in the children’s and teen areas and experimenting with magnetic poetry. (all ages)
Participate in National Poetry Month and America 250 while decorating our library!
Visit the windows near the children's and teen areas at Beatley to read poems by American writers or peruse a writing prompt and write your own! When you're finished, drop your poeTREE leaves at the Youth Services Desk to get added to our harvest of poems. While you're there, check out our poetry book displays and magnetic poetry! Teens can also stop by Teen Takeover on Monday nights, 5:30-7:30, for special poetry activities!
