Alexandria Oddball Cinema
T ᴴ ᴱ M
Oddball Cinema brings you all of the weird, eclectic, and lesser-known films you probably never saw in theaters. Click on the event title for more info!
The opening narration explains that an invisible hand guides human activity on Earth. What you hear is the voice of TᴴᴱM. As long as nobody is aware of TᴴᴱM, life proceeds smoothly. Only when someone takes notice do things go awry. And then somebody has to do something about it. That somebody is TᴴᴱM. The story is a Moebius strip trapped inside a Klein bottle. It moves in slow motion with characters who aren’t always sure where they belong or what they’re supposed to be doing. If you can imagine a production of “Waiting for Godot” shot from Godot’s perspective and directed by David Lynch, you’ll begin to get an impression of the strangeness of this feature.
