Get rid of a few unwanted scarfs. Then come, dig, and leave with a few new-to-you treasures!

Join us at Alexandria Central Library for a Scarf swap where you can exchange your pre-loved scarfs for new-to-you treasures. Whether you're looking to declutter or find some unique pieces, this event is perfect for all scarf enthusiasts.

What’s a Scarf Swap?
A Scarf Swap is where participants gather together to exchange pre-loved scarves.  Each person brings in their gently worn or new scarves that they no longer want, and then everyone gathers to exchange scarves.
A Scarf Swap will provide everyone with the opportunity to revamp your scarves in a sustainable and budget-friendly way.

Scarf Swap Details
Drop-off begins on Monday 9/15 at the Information Desk. (This is the time when you can drop off your items for sorting and organizing so that you can swap hassle-free)
Attendees who wish to participate can contribute up to 5 of scarves.

(You must bring in items in order to leave with items.)

Participants will receive tickets equal to the number of items brought that can be  exchanged for other swapped items once browsing opens at 11:00 AM on the day of the Swap, Saturday 9/20.
Please be mindful to only contribute  items that are in gently-used, or new, clean wearable condition. Stained, dirty, damaged, faulty scarves or scarves with unpleasant odors, will NOT be accepted.

Acceptable Items Include: scarves
Unacceptable Items Include: all items that are not scarves

All unclaimed items will be donated to a charity;
*Please Note: Items are subjected to disposal if items do not align with the guidelines of this event.*
Registration is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged! By registering for this event you will be provided with a friendly email reminder closer to the date.

Come swap scarves with the community in order to refresh a few pieces!
