Do you believe in everything you see online?

There are plenty of sensationalized headlines, misleading stories and even complete falsehoods circulating on the internet, making it hard for even the most discerning reader to sort fact from fiction. This free event will equip you with valuable tools and resources to help you stay safe online. Registration requested. 

This is an AARP Program, co-sponsored with the Alexandria Adult Day Service Center. 

Larry Lipman is a former executive editor for state news with the AARP Bulletin, a former contributing editor with AARP The Magazine, a former Washington correspondent with Cox Newspapers, a former adjunct professor of journalism at The George Washington University, and a former president of The National Press Club. He is also a former president of the Washington chapters of the Society of American Magicians and the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He lives in Northern Virginia and is married and has an adult daughter who lives in England.
