Brush up on your digital and media literacy skills to protect yourself with the Be MediaWise Misinformation Resilience Toolkit.

Over the course of eight weeks, these 30-minute Lunch and Learns will cover relevant information and tools you can incorporate into your time online and information consumption. 

  • May 5 - How do you stay safe online?
  • May 12 - How do you sort fact from opinion? What is bias?
  • May 19 - What makes a resource reputable?
  • June 2 - What is journalism? Who is a journalist?
  • June 9 - Where can you find accurate information?
  • June 16 - How does information spread?
  • June 30 - How do you know it's not AI?
  • July 7 - How do you share responsibly with family and friends? 

 The content of the Lunch and Learns comes from Be MediaWise: A Misinformation Resilience Toolkit, the product of a partnership between MediaWise at the nonprofit Poynter Institute, and the American Library Association.
