Celebrate Women's History Month by joining us for a discussion of Annie Lyons' heartwarming historical novel set in London during World War II.
This novel centers around Gertie Bingham, a bookseller struggling to cope with her husband's death, who takes in a young Jewish refugee, Hedy, and together they find solace and community through books, even during the Blitz.
Burke Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:30 PM to 5 PM. It is a monthly book discussion group through the Burke Branch Library.
