Join participants from Alexandria and our Sister Library in Dundee, Scotland to discuss "One-Story House" from Rebecca Solnit's essay collection A Field Guide to Getting Lost. Registration required.

We will also be discussing a companion short story, "The Young Man with the Carnation," by Isak Dinesen, which is mentioned in another essay from A Field Guide to Getting Lost. Participants will be provided with .PDF copies of both selections upon registering.

Copies of A Field Guide to Getting Lost are available for checkout for Alexandria Library card holders.

"The Young Man with the Carnation," can be found in Winter's Tales, which is also available to checkout.
