Ms. Moxie's Moon Shop is a menstrual health boutique in Old Town, Alexandria, VA where T.M.I. doesn’t exist. Designed to break the taboo surrounding menstrual health (menstruation through menopause and all the phases in between and beyond!), Ms. Moxie's provides workshops, resources, and products that are good for you and the environment AND build community.
Zayda Morales works for the City of Alexandria Health Department and is the Community Education Specialist at the Teen Wellness Center in Alexandria. Originally from Guatemala, Zayda has two adult children, Andrea and Javier, a wonderful life partner named Mark and a wonderful, but naughty dog named Rocco. Zayda works to spread the word about teen health, and about the services the Teen Wellness Center provides by going out into the community, speaking at schools or at any other group or event. It will be a pleasure to meet you.
