Join fellow animal lovers for a Community Pet Show. Registration required for pet participants.

Registration only required for pet participants (dogs and pocket pets) at the button above. Instructions will be emailed to pet participants by August 14. If you can no longer attend with your pet, please cancel your registration so another household can take your place. One pet per household participation limit. This event will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Please do not bring your pets to the event unless they are registered.

More of a cat person? Between July 17 and August 14, post a photo of your cute, wacky, and talented cat(s) on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #AlexLibraryCats and tag @AlexLibraryVA. The most creative cat photos will be voted on and announced during our Pet Show on August 17 and featured on our social media. Get your cameras ready and show off your adorable library-loving feline friends! 📷📚🐾 #AlexLibraryCats
