From Thursday to Saturday, stop into the Barrett Branch to add your sustainable, zero-waste, community-building idea to our wall of ideas. Check out and jot down what others share too!

Have a nifty way to prevent plastic waste? Are you implementing a sustainability practice at work that has been a hit? Is there a need being met that is strengthening your neighborhood? Do you know of a small business that's creating positive change?

Please share your ideas, actions, and dreams that are and can make our community more resilient. The more local, the better!

If you'd like to see all of the ideas shared at the end, register with an email address.

World Localization Day!

World Localization Day is an annual celebration convened by the international NGO Local Futures. On June 21 and throughout the month of June, Local Futures and an array of amazing Global Partners host in-person and online events to highlight localization as a strategy for change. And not least, to celebrate the many efforts and initiatives that foster ecological economies, thriving communities and healthy local food systems.
