FREE RAPID COVID-19 AT HOME TEST KITS

Alexandria Library is partnering with the Alexandria Health Department and the Virginia Department of Health to distribute free rapid COVID-19 antigen at-home test kits. Tests are for personal, individual use. If you are experiencing symptoms, please ask someone else to pick up your test kit for you.

Shelf-Life Information

On April 26, 2022, the US Food and Drug Administration extended the shelf-life of the FlowFlex COVID-19 Antigen Home Tests. You can learn more about the shelf-life of these tests on the FlowFlex website.

 

HOW DO I GET A TEST KIT?

  • Limit of FOUR TESTS per person (Note that each box contains TWO tests)
  • Call your local Library branch to check availability before visiting
  • Due to high demand, the COVID-19 test kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • We are not able to hold kits at this time

 

WHAT IF I NEED HELP?

Library staff cannot assist with administering the test.

In addition to the kits offered by the Virginia Department of Health at Alexandira Libraries, the Federal Government also offers kits available to order for free online.
