National Novel Writing Month

On November 1, participants of National Novel Writing Month begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30.

In addition to resources to help you get started, Beatley Central is a hosting writing event on Wednesday, November 19, at 7 p.m. Learn how the Neuro-Linguistic Method can help improve your writing skills from Dr. Judy Pearson, a Master Hypnotherapist and a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Star Gazing with Cal Powell at Beatley Central

Adams, Regents Professor of History Emeritus, Northern Kentucky University discuss his book Living Hell, a vivid account of the Civil War, on Sunday, November 9, at 2 p.m. Living Hell clusters the voices of actual participants on the firing line or in the hospital ward to create a virtual historical reenactment of the war.
