Can't stay up till midnight? Bring the family, and celebrate here instead with New Year's hat decorating, a performance by Safari Bingo's incredible animals and a countdown to 12 Noon with a balloon drop! All ages invited, but especially appropriate for children ages 2 and up.

Safari Bingo's educational live animal comedy magic show will delight. It includes an African Hedgehog, racing hamsters in cars and a tiny dancing Morki (Maltese/Yorki dog).

Looking for some Holiday music? Alexandria Library has you covered. Library cardholders can download up to five songs per week. Once you download the songs, they're yours to keep. Cardholders can also stream up to 3 hours of music per day. 



Gospel Truth Choir at Beatley Central

Join us in the large meeting room at Beatley Central on Sunday, December 21 at 2 for the beautiful sounds of the Meade Episcopal Church Gospel Truth Choir. The Gospel Truth Choir has sought to incorporate the soul felt tradition of African American music into Black Episcopalian worship. The choir performs both contemporary and traditional gospel music as well as Negro Spirituals and traditional Episcopal music. 



Winter Reading Program at Alexandria Library

Alexandria's Mobile Art Lab at Burke Branch

You've heard of food trucks and ice cream trucks, but what about an art truck? The Mobile Art Lab is a converted box truck with tons of cool & innovative arts supplies. Come see this traveling art studio on Monday, December 15, at 4 p.m. and join us in creating a surprise art project. Project appropriate for ages 5-adult.



Author Talk with Paul Elliott at Duncan Branch
