This workshop will center Black healing and care through the creation of affirming wall hangings using textile collaging techniques.
Join artist Aliana Grace Bailey in a workshop on Monday, November 27th at 6 pm, centering Black healing and care. Community members will explore affirmations, basic textile collaging techniques, and create an affirming wall mobile focused on a theme of their choosing. Throughout the workshop, participants will be invited to reflect communally as they meditate on their experiences and feelings.
Aliana Grace Bailey is a fiber artist, socially-engaged teaching artist, and passionate advocate for radical self-love, wellness, healing, and grief support.
