Rebel Wilson plays a woman whose love life is perpetually stuck in neutral.  Her experiences have led her to take a dim view of romantic comedies, and she’ll loudly deride them and anyone who likes them at every mention of the genre.  When she’s knocked unconscious during a mugging attempt, she awakens to find herself the star of a romantic comedy.  The tropes take over her life even as she defiantly resists all the delights the screenplay showers on her.
