Second FloorLee Gjertsen Malone, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Volunteer Alexandria, will provide information on what to do in and how to prepare for an emergency situation.
Learn the supplies, resources and actions you can take to keep yourself, your family, and neighbors safe when an emergency happens.
September 24-30 is Climate Prep Week! As a Climate Resilience Hub, the Kate Waller Barrett Branch participates in this information week to help our community prepare and respond to our changing climate and extreme weather.
If you have supplies you'd like to donate to the Emergency Supply Drive, please bring them when you attend this workshop. The Emergency Supply Drive runs from September 5-22. Supplies can be dropped off at any branch.
