Do you love reading short stories, both modern and classic? We are celebrating summer with these stories: "Emissary" by Ray Bradbury and “In This Sort of World, the Asshole Wins” by Christa Romanosky.

The World Short Story Discussion Group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM to discuss two carefully chosen short stories. We are currently using the book, "The Best American Short Stories, 2021, edited by Jesmyn Ward," to select contemporary stories for monthly discussions. Please note that the discussion will be held on the second Thursday of August.

This program will take place by Zoom and registration is required. After registering, you will be e-mailed the link to join this Zoom meeting. If you have questions about the program or need help finding these stories, contact Caroline at cpak@alexlibraryva.org.
