Join us for a tour and clean up of the Four Mile Run Park located at 3700 Commonwealth Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22305.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
The streambanks are vegetated, rocky, somewhat steep, and they can be slippery in the areas where the wire gabion baskets are in place, so please wear sturdy shoes with good traction.

WHEN/WHERE TO MEET:
Meet at the east side of Four Mile Run Park near the Commonwealth circle, in the parking lot that is between the baseball field and the softball field, 3700 Commonwealth Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22305. Ample parking is available in this lot and in gravel parking areas across the street.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. In addition, anyone under the age of 18 must have the volunteer waiver signed by parent or guardian (adult participants must also sign the waiver). Contact Genelle Schuler at gschuler@alexlibraryva.org to have a waiver emailed to you. Waivers will also be available on the day of the event.

Please note:
- Trash grabbers, bags, & gloves will be provided
- Please bring your own water in a reusable bottle
- Dress for comfort, with clothes that you wouldn't mind getting dirty
- Other helpful items: hat, sunscreen, multi-tool or pocket knife

Registration is recommended.
