Beth Patridge Meeting RoomAre you pregnant or recently postpartum? Do you work in Virginia? Join us for a free legal assistance training by Allison Tallering that will help you know your options for leave or accommodations
Allison Tallering is a staff attorney at First Shift Justice Project, a nonprofit that helps working parents in low-wage jobs assert their rights to prevent job loss. First Shift serves people in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, though Allison is focused on their Virginia practice. Allison represents clients who are being discriminated against because of their pregnancies or caregiving status, provides counsel to community members going through similar issues, and trains medical providers on how best to assist their pregnant and parenting patients who are going through issues at work. If you are interested in learning more about First Shift's work, please attend our event on May 2 at 6:00 PM!
