An Irish policeman with a confrontational personality is accustomed to doing things his own way – not necessarily by the book. When an international drug-smuggling ring starts operating in his territory, a straight-laced FBI agent arrives from the USA to work as his partner. The pair’s methods diverge at almost every opportunity, and the friction between them threatens to thwart their investigation and perhaps even get them killed.
